About Us
In 2020, Rebecca Banfield made the move from bustling city life in Toronto to the shores of Georgian Bay in Collingwood. Upon settling in, Rebecca noticed a clear demand for effective tutoring services, and led her to found Smarts Tutoring.

Rebecca has always had a passion for education, pursuing a B.A. in Child and Youth Studies at Brock University, followed by a Master's in Child Study and Education at the University of Toronto. Rebecca's passion for learning and helping others led her to spend her extra time tutoring students in a one-on-one setting. Rebecca's mission through Smarts Tutoring is to provide effective tutoring services to help students build confidence, improve their school experience, and meet their academic goals.

2. Book a Consultation
We book a free 30 minute consultation to meet with your child, conduct a brief assessment, and evaluate the learning style that would best suit them.
3. Schedule Regular Sessions
We work 7 days a week, and work around your families schedule. We understand that life gets busy between life, work, and play, which is why we come to you at a time that suits you best!
4. Receive Feedback
After each session we send an
email with detailed lesson notes. Additionally, we ensure regular progress updates so everyone is on the same page regarding your child's academic journey.
